Finding a place to live

There is plenty of different means of housing, in different locations if you want to live in Mellerud. In our towns and villages (Mellerud, Dals Rostock, Åsensbruk, Bränna and Håverud) there are apartments for rent, both through private landlords and through Melleruds Bostäder, a housing corporation owned by the municipality.

I you prefer your own house the are both new and old areas with detached houses and bungalows. Compared to many other places in Sweden it is rather cheap to buy a house of a good standard in Mellerud.
In Sunnanå harbour there are plans for houses situated close to the water, ideal if you own a boat.
