Chimney sweeping
The chimney-sweeper fulfils the municipality’s obligations concerning chimney-sweeping and fire prevention.

When installing a fireplace or a chimney there are rules to be followed. If in doubt please contact the chimney-sweeper. For the safety of the sweeper there must be safety devices on the roof.
If you install a fireplace please chose an environmentally tested one. Statens Provningsanstalt has list of tested fireplaces. The chimney-sweeper must be contacted before you start using the fireplace.
You may be authorized to do your own chimney-sweeping by attending a special course and pass the test at the end of the course.
