Golf
The Golf Club in Mellerud has two golf courses, the new 18-hole-course opened in 2004, and the old 9-hole-course which has been turned in to a pay-and-play-course, also open for non-golf-club-members.
The club was founded in 1988 and became a member of the Swedish golf association in 1992.
The golf club has about 5000 visitors every year, many of the from Norway or Denmark.
Mellerud’s Golf Club has a special membership for players from others parts of Sweden. The club has about 300 such members, who pay a reduced membership fee and get a reduction on the green fee.
Through the club’s office visitors can make booking at hotels and restaurant, often at discounted prices.
You can borrow clubs and other equipment frim the shop or the office. (Open all year if the ground is snow-free, for more information please call +46 530 135 70)
